The PMU is a multi-range until that forces current or voltage to destinations (typicall DUT pins) selectable form a relay matrix.

Precision measurements are perfomed by the ADC unit, which receives differential sense information from the PMU; there is no measurement capability on the PMU proper.

If the load allows the full programmed current to flow, the PMU operates in a current limit mode with the output voltage within programmed voltage limits.

If the load dose not allow the full programmed current to flow, the PMU operates in voltage limit mode with the output current inside programmed current limints.
